'Wollumbin, also known as Mount Warning, is a volcanic core located in the centre of
the Tweed Valley in the far north east of NSW. Wollumbin, meaning cloud catcher, is
central to the massive Tweed Caldera and central also to this series of paintings.

This volcanic remnant wrapped in subtropical forest and capped with cloud remains
significant to the Bundjalung Peoples and has always held a presence over all who have
lived there. Like the cloud catcher, growing up in the valley I gathered the weather and
forest in me. These works explore my internal landscape, they evolved from the
memories of weather and adventures that formed my early experiences. From clouds to
reflective cool pools, waterfalls to dripping mosses, enjoy the fall into this world.’
