The next exhibition at Gallery Bodalla features 'Discovery', the latest exciting body of work by much loved local legend Stuart Whitelaw: "I chose this title as I feel as if I am discovering these places as I work. It's almost the reverse of my usual method of immersing myself in the landscape and trying to transcribe its essence".

'Discovery' commences Thursday 30 October and runs through to Sunday 30 November 2025.

‘Beyond Appearances’, a warm and vibrant collection of oil paintings by Veronica O’Leary

She works in her Tathra studio from still life compositions, interior studies (often of the artist's own domestic environment) and gathered flamboyant bunches of flowers.

These works are bold celebrations of colour and light, exuberant and celebratory of the simple beauties which go beyond appearances.
